Fire Moons need the support of air to have fuel to burn outward.
Air Moons need to be fed fire to give directions and purpose to thoughts.
Earth Moons need the permeability of water to lighten up and grow depth.
Water Moons require the grounding of earth for focus and ambition of feelings.
Just as the Moon circles the Sun, in a symbolically protective manner, and reflects the Sun’s light, the Moon in our chart shows how we protect ourselves, as well as make ourselves feel secure, comfortable, and safe.
The Moon represents our deepest personal needs, our basic habits and reactions, and our unconscious.
Where the Sun acts, the Moon reacts. The moon represents how me instinctively react to problems. It shows what we do when we need to feel a sense of security.
House 1: The House of Self. You wear your heart on your sleeve; your emotions are there for everyone to see. Freedom and stimulation make you happy. Your moods change quickly. You have a tendency to let your emotions overpower logic.
House 2: The House of possessions. You can be generous one day and frugal the next day when it comes to money. Having your bills paid and your own belongings make you feel secure and safe. You are afraid of debt. Vanity may be an issue and you are looking for approval. You may try to hide your emotions.
House 3: The House of communication. You can pick up on languages easily. You have the ability to intimidate others if you want to. You may intellectualise your emotions instead of feeling them and dealing with them. You are sensitive to other people’s opinions. You often make decisions just because they “feel right.”
House 4: The House of home. You feel a deep need for a sense of belonging. You may look for things outside of yourself for things you need to find within yourself. You have a strong attachment to family and tradition.
House 5: The House of pleasure. You love to share conversations, drama, and just enjoy other’s company is a happy tone. You may dramatise your emotions. Love affairs are always intense to you and you take them seriously. Your hobbies are subject to frequent change, but are mostly creative in nature. If the moon is challenged, you may find yourself with problems with impulsive compulsions like gambling or shopping. You may also take irresponsible risks for fun.
House 6: The House of health. You feel a need to be organised and work hard. You like to help people in need. You are very sympathetic. You may want to exaggerate symptoms of health concerns for sympathy.
House 7: The House of partnership. You look for a companion who can emotionally support and and love you. The right partner awakens feelings in you you never knew you could feel. You may have a hard time taking breaks between relationships because you are looking so hard for emotional fulfilment.
House 8: The House of sex. You have a strong need for emotional security, but you are attracted to a partner who pushes your limits. You are fascinated with the darker side of how people work; sex, taboos… Your emotions change quickly and this can prove difficult when trying to emotionally connect with your partner. You want closeness, but you close yourself off.
House 9: The House of philosophy. You need to be stimulated. Routine bores you and you need something more. You are often longing to move around and travel, but you need to learn to be happy with where you are and with yourself.
House 10: The House of social status. You want emotional recognition, want to be popular, and to be accepted. You are at your best when you are leading a structured life. You may change your goals frequently. You work well in the public and people generally like you. You give good first impressions and understand people emotionally.
House 11: The House of friendship. You want friendships you feel you belong in. You like to feel emotionally connected and secured. If you are emotionally unwell, this will seriously effect your relationships with friends. Your mood, goals, and aspirations change often.
House 12: The House of subconscious. The moon in this house makes you sensitive towards things that are emotional and groundless. Sensitive though you are, your emotional reactions are often delayed as a way to defend yourself. You often feel the need for solitude.
Mars in Cardinal Signs ( Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn ) show that the person can be “pushy.” This can be annoying to people who do not like pushiness. Mars in cardinal sign is good at starting projects, but let’s hope they can stay interested enough to finish. ( This can be a book, exercise program, work project, home project etc ). Generally know what they want and how to get it. More direct than other signs. Leadership skills. Mentor skills, especially with Libra.
Mars in fixed signs ( Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius ) do not like change. They can be stubborn. But generally they finish what they set out to do. May get irritated with pushy people, as they are not scared of committing to something. May resent being told what to do. Not fickle or flakey.
Mars in mutable signs ( Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces ) are the ones that can be fickle or flakey, depending on rest of the chart. May get annoyed by pushy people, but sometimes they need them. May not always follow through projects, maybe except for Virgo. Can get bored easily and restless, so exercise is important. Can have an adventurous spirit.

Self-care is an essential part of a good life for all of us. However, as individuals, we need different things to keep us going. In this installment, I am focusing on Taurus, the second sign of the zodiac.
the thing to know about Taurus:
Taurus contributes
staying or holding power. Taurus holds on to what it is or what it has. Taurus makes the best of what is, rather than
quickly and easily replacing it with something new and different. It also gives it a quality of passive resistance. The basic power of
Taurus is growing power. It is not aggressive in this action. It is patient and
continuous. Taurus has well-developed
and keen senses.
quotes for Taurus:
my message to Taurus: You may be
accused of being more stuborn and indolent than everyone else but don’t be
concerned about their issues. It’s not your fault that you know what you want and they don’t. Don’t let anyone rush you for any reason and keep moving at your own pace. You’re strong, determined, patient, and the one that people can rely on. You’re excellent at making good with what you have and building enviable lives. Your sensuality is unmatched and should be celebrated. You know, probably more than anyone else, that everything that we
humans love can be linked directly to our five senses and our bodies. You are aware that without a body there would be no
eyes to see beauty, or ears to hear music, or hands to create art. You can have the ability to feel pleasure and
pain, to taste meats and wines, or smell the perfumes of the world around you. You know that the ability to laugh or cry, to know the rush of the drug called sex, or that of the hunt is integral to the human experience. You trust in nature and that is admirable. You nurture
and care for living things and have an unshakable, unshockable stability in the face
of life’s challenges. At your best, you’re dignified, calm, and understated. You remind everyone to stop and smell the roses; to celebrate
experiences and realize that knowledge that can only be gained through being embodied. You’re about action, not words. You are thoughtful and caring and have the gift for making life comfortable, secure, and sane.
physiological makeup of Taurus:
Taureans
are recognizable by their necks, which are often thick and sturdy. They tend to
be attractive people with broad foreheads and many retain their youthful
appearances long after the rest of us begin to show our age. They should watch what they eat, however. This, of course, is undoubtedly true for
all signs, but particularly true for the bull who has a slower metabolism.
Taurus self-care tips:
I covered this before (see #4), but let me expound further on this placement because it’s not really covered as much. Also, I’ve seen a couple of misconceptions by ill-informed elements on here about it, so let me set the record straight on this placement as well:
More than anything, Mars, as a planet, represents the externalization of energy. With a mutable and mercurial sign such as Virgo, it’s important to highlight the fact that this placement can go either one of two ways: the native can be unsure and fueled by nerves, or the native can be invulnerable and poised. It all depends on whether or not Mars is a dominant planet, or more importantly, whether Mars is badly (or “roughly”, however you wanna phrase it) aspected or not.
truncated list of challenging aspects/positions for Mars:
truncated list of strong aspects/positions for Mars:
Virgo Mars is a rather skilled and strategic placement, especially when not in retrograde. If Mars is in a challenging aspect or in retrograde, they can be as sensitive as any Cancer, naggy, and preoccupied with order. This is their way of externalizing the insecurity within themselves. However, if Mars is dominant and/or strongly aspected, they’re self-assured, competent, and a champion of quality work and attention to detail when it comes to work and sex.
sexuality: This part is important because not enough is covered about this facet of a Mars in Virgo. Their sexual drive may be somewhat repressed, and this is because their primal energy has a Mercurial filter applied to it, thus their energy is more mental and is channeled into work. I liken the sexuality of a Virgo Mars more to a snow-covered volcano, ready to erupt in the right situation and around the right person. They want to please and they want to serve and they do it very well. They have a sixth (house) sense when it comes to the body and what makes others tick sexually and when they’re in the mood, their attention to detail works well in this department as they can hit spots on a lover’s body that they never even knew they possessed and can easily blow someone’s mind and have them coming back for more. Unlike Gemini energy, their actions match their words.
work: Like any true earth sign, work is central to a Virgo Mars, as it proves their usefulness, which is important to them. Mars in Virgo natives will rarely remain unemployed, because they are usually able to turn at least one of their interests or talents into money. They’re great at managing (perhaps micromanaging) and overseeing other workers because of their high efficiency. Unfortunately, when externalizing their energy, this could mean that relations with their subordinates may not be so rosy, because they tend to drive them as hard as they drive themselves, and they can be very demanding, critical and intolerant of those who do not perform as well as they do. They’re flexible and versatile and good at almost everything, which inspires a lot of jealousy from others who aren’t nearly as deft or talented. Their work ethic is as fierce as their simmering sexuality and anger when provoked.
anger: As far as their anger is concerned, they’re more irritable than angry and have a long fuse. Like any air sign, they consider anger beneath them and will rather have a superiority complex going on. However, they are not immune to anger and can have a rather volcanic temper, and their Mercurial facility with words becomes a fearsome weapon. They can be really cold, sarcastic, and insensitive. Sometimes they really don’t give a fuck about what you have to say. But, a high-level Virgo mars never lets their emotions get the best of them, maintains a cool head and always comes out on top. They have no need for infantile bombast and histrionics or passive-aggressiveness to get their point across like all the other Mars signs do (with the possible exception of Capricorn); they apply their rather strong will quietly, with subtlety.
Also, unlike other Mars signs, they can actually be very considerate when they want to be. They are overall quite impressive and others want to get in their good graces. A strong Virgo mars just cannot fake the way they feel so why pretend that they identify with the waifs and losers of the world? They’re long-distance winners.
